On October 16, Kepner-Tregoe Japan proudly hosted the 2024 KT Excellence Awards Ceremony & Discovery Day at the stunning Akasaka Prince Classic House in Tokyo. This historic venue provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration, learning, and connection.
The spotlight shone brightly on three remarkable clients – Corning, Hitachi Academy Co., Ltd., and Fujifilm – each recognized for their outstanding achievements and commitment to continuous improvement using Kepner-Tregoe methodologies. Their stories inspired everyone in attendance, showcasing how critical thinking and structured problem-solving drive innovation and success.
Adding depth to the evening was our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Daisuke Yasukawa. Mr. Yasukawa from Hitachi Academy shared real-life examples of how Problem Analysis and Situation Appraisal have benefited his organization. He presented two examples: one that utilized KT’s rational thinking process and another that did not. This effectively demonstrated how applying the process can lead to faster problem resolution.
The keynote was followed by a sumptuous dinner, accompanied by the soothing melodies of live music that filled the air, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere.
As we reflect on this unforgettable evening, we are reminded of the strong partnerships we’ve forged and the transformative impact of empowering organizations with world-class problem-solving and decision-making skills.
